This year your 9th Global Studies class will be the start of a two part class that will finish at the end of your 10th grade year. This year will begin with discovering when and where civilizations started and why they began to flourish. Throughout this year we will examine superior civilizations such as Rome, Athens, Sparta, in addition to European and Japanese feudal societies that have helped shape our societies of today.
